In his talk that prefaced a tour of the Lo Kwee Seong Pavilion, Prof. Josh Yiu, Director of the CUHK Art Museum, gave an enlightening talk on how the institution ended up building a world-class collection that now not only travels on loan around the world but also serves as an invaluable teaching tool for disciplines beyond the arts at the university. The tour of the pavilion architecture, designed by Rocco Yim, also gave insight into the new exhibition possibilities provided by the museum expansion.
