
The Ink Society Limited was founded by a group of Chinese ink art enthusiasts in 2003 in Hong Kong as a non-profit-making organisation with charitable status under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (Cap. 112). Members of the Society always try to share the common passion in promoting and popularizing this unique Chinese art form specilising in the deployment of ink and brushes on hand-made paper and silk. 水墨會有限公司創立於2003年5月, 為獲 (稅務條例) (第112章) 第88條認可的非牟利團體. 組織成員為一群熱衷於分享傳統中國水墨藝術之人士. |
The mission of The Ink Society is to foster a broader understanding and appreciation of modern and contemporary art that is based on or inspired by the ink traditions, and to support the establishment of a museum or other appropriate exhibition platform dedicated to its preservation, research, presentation and promotion within a contemporary context. 水墨會以發揚各種發源於中國水墨藝術傳統或與此有關的現代, 當代藝術創作為使命, 促進水墨藝術的發展, 培養欣賞能力; 並致力倡建相關的主題博物館或其他適宜的展示平台, 以配合當代文化發展, 開展保存, 研究, 展示及推廣的工作. |
