It was a great pleasure for the Ink Society to host a group visiting from the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco. Dr. Jay Xu, the Director of the Museum, and Akiko Yamazaki & Lucy Sun, Co-Chairs of the Board, led a group of patrons and colleagues.
Abby Chen, the newly appointed first head of the Contemporary Art Department, gave a short presentation on the museum's contemporary art programming and collecting strategies, as the institution unveils its Transformation Project next year.
