Dr Anita Chung, Head of Heritage, Tai Kwun, gave an insightful introduction to her fascinating new exhibition "Gender & Space". The exhibition, comprising mostly photographs and architectural drawings, explores the experiences of several women in Hong Kong society from 1841 to 1941. Many of the stories relate to the heritage of Tai Kwun itself, a site that embodied power and masculinity.
